This facility shows our commitment to the environment, since it was the first Photovoltaic Solar Plant connected to the grid in the Principality of Asturias. Electra Norte promoted and managed this project through an innovative financing system that allowed the involvement of private citizens as active investors in the generation of clean energy, thus becoming an example - as early as in 2001 - of the relevant role that the consumer is called to play in the electrical system.
