Electra Norte sells electricity to any domestic customer or SME that so wishes in the municipalities of Siero and Bimenes, ensuring competitive prices, transparent management and a personalized approach to customer service at all times.
2003
In 2003, Electra Norte became the first company to sell certified renewable electricity throughout the country, even before the launch of the current regulated system with guarantees of origin.
2009
As of July 2009, when the regulations establish the effective separation of distribution and sales activities, Electra Norte began to sell electrical energy in the area where Electra de Carbayín used to do so.
2000
Nexus Energía S.A. is a company dedicated to the sale of energy throughout Spain. It was founded in 2000 by independent distribution companies, including Electra Norte. Since then, we have continued to play an active role in its governing body.
2017
Since 2017, Electra Norte has been the representative of Nexus Energía for the sale of electrical energy and natural gas throughout Asturias. We are specialized in SMEs and large accounts.
Electra Norte also participates, through Nexus Energía, in the electricity and gas supply tenders promoted by the Asturian public administrations. In the 2019-2020 period, Nexus Energía supplies more than 765 headquarters of public bodies in the Principality, from residential facilities for the elderly to several offices of various government ministries, through a contract that exceeds 25 million euros. The offer presented was the most competitive of the seven companies that participated in the tender.
